Thanks to its modern, permanently connected monocable system, the Taormina cable car is composed of two clusters of four cabins each, with a capacity of up to 680 people per hour, ensuring efficiency and continuity even during peak periods.
Every year, over 850,000 people choose this comfortable, sustainable, and scenic means of transport to travel between the city and the sea, avoiding traffic and enjoying one of Sicily’s most iconic views.
Perfect for those who want to get around quickly without sacrificing the beauty of the landscape, the Mazzarò – Taormina cable car is the ideal way to start (or end) a day of culture, relaxation, and natural wonders.
The cable car operates daily from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. The frequency of the rides is every 15 minutes; in case of heavy traffic, the rides will be continuous.
Below are the updated fares for the Mazzarò – Taormina cable car.
