Today, the Taormina Municipal Services Company is a Special Company pursuant to Law 142/90, an instrumental body of the Municipality, and manages a variety of essential public services: cable transport, parking, urban transport on wheels, school transport, maintenance of public lighting and distribution of drinking water.
ASM also hosts trade fairs and directly manages strategic facilities such as the cable car, the Mazzarò covered parking lot, and the “Lumbi” and “Porta Catania” multi-storey car parks, contributing daily to the city’s functioning and livability.

ASM Taormina was born as ATM with the management of the historic cableway that connects the city to the sea.
In 1990, it expanded its local operations, also taking over management of the urban transport service in the Municipality of Taormina. The first two lines under concession—the Green Line and the Red Circular Line—marked the beginning of a journey of growth and development serving local mobility.
In providing its services, ASM undertakes to respect the following fundamental principles:
ASM Taormina is guided by the principles of equal customer rights. The service will therefore be provided according to the same rules for all, without any discrimination based on gender, race, language, religion, or political views. It guarantees equal treatment of all customers, under the same service conditions, within geographical areas and homogeneous supply categories or bands.
ASM Taormina is committed to providing customers with regular, continuous, and uninterrupted services, barring circumstances beyond its control.
In the event of service suspension due to force majeure, the Company undertakes to minimize disruptions.
In the event of a staff strike, service will be provided during the hours protected by applicable law.
ASM Taormina guarantees the participation of each customer in the provision of services, to protect the right to proper service delivery and to foster collaboration and ongoing communication between customers and the Company.
The Customer has the right to request information from ASM regarding the service and can make requests, proposals, suggestions, and submit complaints.
Employees are provided with an identification badge, which the Customer may request to see if interacting with company personnel.
ASM Taormina is committed to ensuring that all relationships between its employees and customers are characterized by the utmost courtesy.
